Alright. Everybody say "aaahhh. . ."

Our neighbors start a puppy
After 20 years without a dog, our neighbors across the street got a puppy. Mickey Blue Eye is a three-month-old Lhaso Poo that Leno bought Carolyn in a spontaneous decision, egged on by his son.

They absolutely love their puppy, and why not? We dropped by this morning to take some pictures but the little dog loved having company so much he couldn't stop squirming and licking and chewing long enough for a portrait.

Kathleen got to pick up Mickey and before long got a face wash and puppy nipping. Most of the pictures are a blur of motion. Mickey has one blue eye and one brown eye as you might have suspected.
The training is going well, they are using the crate method. And of course, this being coyote country, Mickey always has company out of doors.

It's hard not to think of our little dog that we lost last summer and wonder when the time will be right to get another one. It seems it will be sooner now.
