Dog gone

Word was received by voice mail this morning that the last glasses wearing beagle in Saddlebrooke has been sold. Nancy Rolfsrud, who was commissioned by Kathleen Rolfsrud to seek this treasure during her present stay in Tucson, waited for the shop to open this morning, but was disappointed to learn that, alas, the wooden dog had been sold.

"Oh well," lamented Kathleen, "I am sure it went to a good home."

Nancy, ever the thorough shopper, got the storekeeper (who is also the local postmaster) to look through the back room, just in case one had been overlooked. Nothing. The storekeeper has Nancy's cell phone number to call in the event one shows up.

There are giraffe glasses holders, panda bear glasses holders and the like, but no dog glasses holders. Now Kathleen is faced with an ethical dilemna: She bought the holder as a gift to a wonderful friend then wanted it for herself. Does she keep it or give it? (You may comment by clicking below.
