There WERE 12 Wild Turkeys here

At 3:35 p.m. today, Stan started his daily constitutional walk, lasting at least one half hour and raising his metabolic and heart rate to appropriately high levels. As he strolled down Abbey Point, he saw approximately one dozen wild turkeys sauntering across No. 13. He dashed back to the house (actually it was more of a lope) to get the camera. By the time he returned to the scene, cold-weather golfers had scared the wild life away and left this scene behind. Please enjoy the green grass, the bright sun, and the idea that very near here in an adjacent wildlife preserve, some turkeys are talking.
