Steve writes to us Thursday at 10:00 p.m.:
Bill had a great day. Both his physical therapy and cognitive therapy are going well. Most importantly, when I asked him who beat who the last time that we played golf (Memorial Day), he immediately knew the correct answer.
He was disappointed, however, to find out that when he does finally turn on the TV in their hospital room, it does not have ESPN in the channel lineup.

No Humpty-dumpty here... I had my first opportunity to examine close-up the perfect suturing that put the final touches on putting Bill back together again. Simply amazing what they did for this young man. We are looking forward to a full recovery.
Briggs is accelerating her physical therapy. Nancy reports that Briggs completed five rounds around the nursing station with her walker, although Nancy didn't see anyone holding any stop watches--yet. Tomorrow the stitches are removed from the facial lacerations. Briggs still works to rid her system of nausea and dizziness--but she overshadows those problems with that Briggsy smile and optimism every chance that she gets.
We can't thank all of you enough for all of the support that they and we have received.
