Walden Pond, eh? You think?

Checking the Briggs and Bill blog this morning, we discovered this report. Have a good thought for our recuperating niece at Harvard.

Briggs writes:
This past week, I've been experiencing numbness in my right arm when I bend my head forward. Not so good. I called some medical folks, and was instructed to go to the Walk-In Clinic. They then sent me to the Emergency Room. Five and a half hours later, I was diagnosed with a potential pinched nerve, and instructed to see a doctor.
Long story short, I still don't like being in hospitals, but have an MRI scheduled on Thursday. I'll let you know what the results are. Hopefully the numbness will just go away. It's tough to write papers without an arm!
On the good side, I am officially signed up for classes. They begin tomorrow. Study, study, study! I felt in need of inspiration to begin my studiousness, so Bill and I visited Walden Pond (where Henry Thoreau did his work.) I'm definitely smarter, and more liberal, too.
