Surprise!

Friend and neighbor Debbie Strong gets full 50th Bday treatment
The classic surprise birthday party was hatched and pulled off flawlessly this morning by Kevin Strong and family.

At 10 a.m. his unsuspecting wife strolled into her brother's Renegade Bar in Savage (sort of a biker grill for nice people) and saw her three brothers seated on barstools (below) having their breakfast brew.

This was a big surprise to her, but wait, there's more. Only moments later, the entire joint erupted with her extended family, friends and neighbors singing the birthday song.

Very raucous, dawg wild, Saturday morning, even for a biker bar.
We met Pork Chop, the brothers, mothers and others, and learned that Kevin's handle here is "Monster."
Free breakfast for everyone was followed by Monster's 1001 slides, organized and produced by an adoring husband, who has a knack for technology and recordkeeping.

The cake was cut at noon and Deb was still glowing with the shock and stunning warmth of it all.
Happy 50th, Kid.
