Here's a look at a work in progress, the upstairs guest bedroom in Tucson. We've painted the walls (lightweight beige) and the ceiling (honeysuckle white) and installed dentil moulding around the entire room. The end tables were purchased from Craig's list for $10 each, sanded down a bit and coated with polyurethane. The window on the right will have a dustboard and curtains from the Linen's and Things package we purchased for $170 in Minneapolis last fall. Included was a cute little dressing stool that you really can't see in the foreground because it is covered with material for pillows, shams etc. You've seen the closeup of the dentil. What is needed now is a nice headboard for the Queen. We've been looking at the Golden Goose Thrift Shop, but so far, nothing. The search for accessories continues. When it's finished, won't you come and use it?
