Opinion sought on window height

The new wall dividing the master bedroom from the library/exercise room/morning room has been framed up to the point of the window rough-in. The window is five feet wide by two feet high.

A 28" door has been roughed in on the left.

The plan is to seat the window where the red level is in the photograph above. Stan is 6' 1". He cannot see over the level. Is this high enough? The wall is 11.5 feet high at this location. Privacy is a consideration because there is a bedroom on one side. We want it as low as possible to take full advantage of the window light from the adjacent room.

What do you think?

Please comment or email the trailboss with your opinion before it gets framed out. You can click on the image to get a closeup view of the framing.

By the way, the wall looks crooked because of the parallax effect of the wide-angle lens. Kathleen guarantees that the wall is straight. She used her new red level. The ceiling has a definite sag to it, losing 1 inch from edge to center.
