Mom had her nails done yesterday. They now sport a kitty-cat on her middle finger. (Click on this photo to enlarge it. It's a really nice picture.)Cheap gas and a beautiful day for driving prompted a day-trip to see Stan's Mom in Alexandria. Stan and Kathleen headed North by Northwest and were soon in the land of the Vikings where snow covered the ground on Sunday, but was pretty much gone when they arrived at 11 a.m.
Mom looked great, feels great, and her arm is much better now... doesn't need the sling.
The nation may be in its worst shape since the Great Depression and the electorate may be calling for change, but that doesn't shake our rock-ribbed Republican. No change for her, no sir, she's already voted and she voted straight up, if you must know. She did her research, she says, and, among other things, she's a bit suspicious of that comedian.
