Five of six Rolfsrud siblings enjoyed brunch in Mankato this morning, as they continue to sort and organize Mother's copious family memorabilia and keepsakes. Nancy fed the gang fruit, rolls, a meaty brunch egg casserole, coffee and orange juice while spouses Kathleen and Ron did their best to support the Rolfsrud organizational frenzy.
Kathleen took these photos and Ron performed yeoman service opening packages, turning screws and cutting twine with his newly- acquired poor man's swiss army corkscrew and knife. (Would that be a Norwegian army knife?)
Below, the archivists bent to their work, examing the contents of the many boxes to be carefully sorted. The work proved fascinating, nostalgic and memorable, and we hope to share many of the finds here, from time to time, as discoveries dictate.
