Morning briefing

Tiger Woods still mum on his 25-yard drive, Tom Petters measured for a prison cell that fits, fumbling Adrian Peterson is often late to work and has a need for 100 mph speed, increasing carbon dioxide levels make Minnesota aspens grow faster and now Norm Coleman wants to be governor. Oh, how I missed my daily news briefings in the library, with my sweetie paging through the newspaper, occasionally reading and laughing aloud, my dog warming in my lap. Kathleen even saved me the picture of Joe Mauer getting an MVP hug from his mom.
It's great to be home. Tucson has superb falls and winters, but a real lousy news department.
