Upon first seeing his portrait, his sister Becky was reminded of F. Scott Fitzgerald characters. She writes: Geez, Virg could have had a role in "The Great Gatsby!"The photo was taken circa 1975 during a St. Valentine's Day dress up dinner party modeled after the then popular "The Godfather" movie.
We're inclined to agree with Becky. He certainly doesn't look like a New York gangster.
