The ever-sharp diamond blade has never been replaced on Virg's electric tile saw. Operator usually wears safety glasses, always a Mankato East sweatshirt.

Before we get around to building any peanut-butter bird feeders, there's that tile backsplash for the kitchen wall. The project has been on the
things-to-do list for 10 years now, and this week, for some reason, we got a burst of energy and brought home 50 square feet of stone tile. The job would not be possible, of course, without Virgil's Super Tile Saw. We've borrowed it intermittently over the years; it's a humble device, but it just keeps on cutting. Eventually it found a permanent home in our garage, and today we uncovered it. It still slices tile like it was a breast of chicken.
