Today an e-invitation to a birthday celebration of Stan's old Fort Hood, Texas Army unit (yes, they really have those events) included a google map. A little clicking around and sure enough, there it was, a street view of Sarge's off-post Copperas Cove home for six months in 1971. The miserable rental appeared to be on its last legs then. The current street view shows it is still standing, with a single lonesome plastic chair on the front stoop. High today in mid-Texas? 100.
