Iver Gulbranson dies

 

Mom's date to the 2008 Senior Prom at Clearwater Suites passed away Sunday. They had been friends since the 1950s when they both were sending children to the same rural school.  Both were born on May 23 and had fun sharing that coincidence over the years, often celebrating together.
We fondly remember Iver Gulbranson and enjoyed reviewing this short 2008 clip of Mom being escorted to the prom by a very kind and thoughtful gentleman. Click on the icon to play it.
Funeral services for Iver, 93, will be held Friday, Oct. 5 at First Lutheran Church in Alexandria.

A note from Iver's grandchild: I would like to say thanks for that video of your mother with Iver.  I am his granddaughter, Brianne Gulbranson.  My dad is Brian.  He was a great father and grandfather.  We will miss him so much.  He is in a better place and free from pain.
