A peacock jumped up on the split rail fence to greet us on our walk through the zoo today. Temps were a bit crisp, sunny and in the 50s, so some of the monkeys took the day off. We went to Pepperoni's for breakfast at 11 and learned that they open up at 11 for lunch, no breakfast on weekdays. Disappointed, our waitress said they had some breakfast ingredients on hand so they kindly fixed us bacon and eggs, pancakes, toast and their own American potatoes.
Then we walked it off at the zoo. :)
