Stan and Kathleen were guests at Marcy's South Minneapolis apartment this morning, as she spread a tasty breakfast delight. Many of the ingredients came from Marcy's new employer, Lakewinds Co-op, recently opened in the former Lyndale Garden Center building. The expertly-prepared healthy food choices were organic, the eggs free range and the sausage made from happy pigs. We were happy too with the delicious result. Gift opening followed, making for a fabulous birthday on a beautiful summer morning.
Daughters Missy and Jennifer also checked in with gifts and good wishes today, and Granddaughter Emily handmade a beautiful card, complete with her copyright Grandpa logo -- a big G with tiny hairs on it. (see below)
