From our sister paper in International Falls

The woman in pink, Shawn, works with our newspaper in International Falls. The chamber of commerce had this idea to get some publicity for the town, cementing its title "IceBox of the Nation," by photoshopping this picture of the president putting his seal on the situation.

The photo made CNN yesterday and the chamber got what it wanted. There has been a ton of buzz. I Falls prides itself in being a great place to test equipment in the cold -- batteries, etc. Wayne Kasich, publisher of the Daily Journal, sent me this photo. He had been asked to drive over and take the original photo, but when he heard it involved bikinis and booze he chickened out and let someone else do it.

Oh yes. It was 20 below zero when the photo was taken. Wayne explains that what happens is the cold chills the blood and not much of it gets to the brain.
