Adam Jerdee finished the nation's largest 20K race yesterday in Des Moines. The 12.4 mile event, called the "Dam-to-Dam," annually draws 4,300 participants from around the world.
Adam is Stan and Kathleen's nephew, the son of Becky and Al Jerdee.
"The race went well," Adam said afterward, "I got some help from my friend and co-worker Bill. He runs seven miles a day religiously. For me, it was a Dam Good Day!"
Adam and Bill are "geeks" at Wells Fargo. (Photo above.)
Adam's wife, Kim, congratulated her man at the finish line, at right.
The guys ran well under their projected times so they were very pleased with themselves.
We're very pleased as well. Congratulations Adam!
Said Adam's Mom Becky: "It’s so fun to watch beautiful bodies in motion."
