It's the dust, they say, that gives the distinctive pink and blue hues to the Arizona sunsets. We enjoyed this one tonight in Nancy and Doug MacKenzie's backyard before going indoors for a departure dinner in our honor. We enjoyed a pork loin, a rice pilaf with sauteed vegetables, salad and corn salsa. Sue Krueger offered slices of her famous key lime pie.
Kathleen gave parting gifts to the ladies, baseball caps with her Stonebrooke logo and some stunning crab refrigerator magnets that get all shaky when you close the door.
Invited guests tonight included Sue and Dick Krueger and Brenda and Dick Robertson. Also present was Steve Rolfsrud.
