She will lead the Chinese

In an apparent attempt to even out the balance of trade, Briggs Rolfsrud Siitari will be dispatched to China this summer to guide students wishing to study in America.

Briggs is a gradute student at Harvard and received notice this week that she has been awarded a "Crimson Summer Exchange 2008 Fellowship."

The Crimson Summer Exchange is an educational and cultural exchange program that has brought together some of the most promising young scholars from China, the United States and the United Kingdom. As a fellow, Briggs will be an indispensable member of a team of young faculty, charged with the task of mentoring, leading and inspiring the next generation of Chinese students for five weeks this summer.
