Egg crackers

Jennifer and Kathleen attended Cooking School yesterday in Prior Lake and this morning they put their newly-acquired skills to practical use.
The way you crack an egg, they tell us, is to crack one against the other. One will neatly break, the other won't. It's much neater that way, better than smashing it against the counter or edge of the frying pan.
The Cooking School was sponsored by the newspaper company so it was a bit of old home week for Kathleen, as she greeted the many newspaper employees she doesn't see much of anymore.
Jennifer and Joe wanted waffles this morning. Oh yes, Jennifer arrived from Colorado yesterday morning and sends greetings to all.
This morning's exhibition gave Joe an opportunity to deliver his excellent voice impression of Julia Child.
"Now don't crowd the mushrooms," she warned us in her distinctive falsetto.
