This Gang of Five represents the Hope of Iowa. Latest inductee is 18 month-old Landon Jerdee, who recently completed his first organized competitive event, a 50-meter sprint at the Iowa State Fair.
Let's let Grandma tell it:
Landon did his first official run at the Iowa State Fair... The 50-meter Kid Run on the same day that Blake, Adam, Hunter, and Dave ran the 5K. His Dad said Landon ran the race by himself while a lot of the other parents carried or hustled behind their kids to urge them forward...

So there you have it. Stan's great nephew did it on his own, showing the competitive grit that will no doubt be featured here and elsewhere for years to come as this obviously gifted young lad takes his place in the legend called Underwood/Jerdee.
