Exciting news: Last night we received an email from yet another member of our extended family, a cousin, AJ Jackson from Las Vegas, who found us on the
Rolfsruds & Friends blog while searching the internet for genealogical information. Our great-great grandparents were brothers, Peter and John Jackson, AJ has discovered. (In the photo above, our cousin AJ is the second from the left, the others are members of the
Earth Wind and Fire -- Verdine White, Phil Bailey and Ralph Johnson. AJ once worked as a backup dancer for Phil and is pictured backstage during a sort of reunion last year.)
We're corresponding with our Cousin AJ now and we'll soon offer you a more complete report on this "new" relative. Stan's mother is a Jackson and can trace family roots to Riccarton, Scotland. So can AJ. Type Jackson into the search box above for background information on the subject.
