Meanwhile, out back

We got a few more ribs laced into the trellis today and it is really starting to take shape. At the moment the assembly appears a bit top-heavy, but when the top is rounded, two triangles will be formed and it will be very sturdy and appear to be quite secure, despite its narrow base. Earthquake-proof even. There's a keystone and an arch. It is the same principle that gives a wine barrel its strength, Harry calls it vectoring, but that is way over Stan's pay grade.
The nail gun has proven to be a most valuable asset, providing instant, noisy and easy connections. . . and also adding to the fun and excitement.
