Three Christmases ago Kathleen bought us a Lincoln Log set. We've already had a ton of fun with it, but today's three story fort was considered the best one yet, though its extreme height off the coffee table makes it too dangerous for some of us. It's cold outside today, but not too cold for a quick trip outside to harvest this year's crop of cones from under the Norwegian pine and leave a slice of cake and a friendly note at the Hobbit House.
