I went to Costco to pick up countertop information and clearly, Costco was well ahead of our decision- making. Their Regal Ware Master-Clad Cookware Road Show provided absolute affirmation that induction cooking is our road best taken.
Obviously, we were meant to have this induction-compatible cookware, or why would they be demonstrating it RIGHT NOW and at a fabulous savings? Not only a giant reduction on a basic set, but extra free pieces, oh my, oh my! Furthermore, why would the shopper next to me, dressed in sari and the biggest red forehead dot I've ever seen, know ALL about induction cooking and tell me exactly what only two additional pieces I'd need, ever?
Here is the picture of the only 13 pieces we need, along with my old tea kettle.
Stove isn't in yet, but the cookware has arrived, all shiny and new. |
Costco resolved myriad details in our in-home consultation with Michael. Costco tosses in a new sink, faucet, and disposal to ensure that everything under the counter behaves. They will take away the old stuff and install the new range along with the plumbing and countertop. In one day! Huh? Something fixed in our house IN ONE DAY? Gotta love Costco!
After a field trip to the Fairfield plant, we have selected Sandalwood Corian with coving and a simple bull-nosed edge. Yes, there are more things to puzzle out, but we are happily on a moving train!
