First impressions

Stan took Birdie for a walk in the neighborhood to conduct morning business and couldn't help but take these photos. There are a lot of interesting homes around the immediate area, but this was today's favorite so far, two blocks away, adjacent to Audubon Park. Below is a big moss-covered oak framing the St. Clare's Monastery a block away. The Brothers must be at prayers. Saw no sign of anyone. Birdie chose Audubon Park for her business. The air is cool but invigorating. Locals are friendly.
We'll continue to make concentric circles and learn more of neighborhood today. Magazine Street shops are next. Bus No. 11 drove past and it said "World War II Museum" on its placard. Which makes that easy to find.
