The entire family of cement workers departed the premises at 1:30 Pacific. Sol will be back tomorrow, with a little help. The job is essentially complete. Everything poured, dyed and stamped. "Don't walk on it tonight," Sol warned as he unrolled the yellow caution tape. The job isn't ready for the big reveal just yet, the dust has to be washed, forms removed. Soon.Right now the tile crew is taking over inside, they've pulled the carpet, taken out the baseboards and sealed the floor with a dandy orange product.
Big crew here tomorrow. The chief, Russ, and his sidekick, Bernie, will lay a few tiles this afternoon and be set up for the big rush tomorrow.
