Easter Sunday in Tucson

Now that the Rolfsruds have returned from Tucson for another Minnesota summer, the desert is finally blooming back in Arizona.

These beautiful images were copied from Brenda Robertson's family web site.

She's the long-suffering wife of one of our favorite Tucson golf partners, Dick Robertson -- we've often referred to him here as The Left-Handed Lehman and the Golden Goose Fashionista.

It appears that the desert isn't alone in sprouting marvelous new growth. When we left Tucson in March, our good friend, Doug MacKenzie, was as bald as . . . Stan.

Today we found this picture of Doug on the same web site.

The Arizona sun is miraculous.

And just as the blooms spread throughout Saddlebrooke, this fashion trend has apparently caught fire in our neighborhood, as we spotted next door neighbor Dick Krueger (recently retired from General Mills and apparently bored already) with a similar fullish look.

And then, scrolling down, there was that fashion slave, Dick Robertson, desperate to keep up. Very sad.

You're way too sexy for your clothes, gentlemen. . . even in an active adult community.
