The Christmas season is a great time to catch up on old friends. Lorlee Bartos is a regular visitor here and a frequent contributor as well. She volunteered a photo of her grandniece, who has golden curly hair just like all the Bartos girls that we knew in grade school. There are five Bartos kids and I asked Lorlee if the baby was Mary Jo's grandchild? Here's her response and a photo of the family.Lorlee writes:
No, LuAnn's. Mary Jo and I never married. Steve married but has no kids. LuAnn and Duane each have three. Duane has two granddaughters and LuAnn this one. LuAnn lives in Easton, a widow with three kids: Bil, Lyn and Chuck. Bil is the father of this cutie. Lyn is married and lives in St. Paul. Chuck is in Atlanta. Duane is married to Barb and they live in Roberts, WI -- Three kids, Tim, Tammy and Chris. Tammy is married with two daughters. Chris is an engineer who works in Minneapolis, and Tim is divorced and lives in Roberts. Mary Jo lives in Minnetonka and works for Cargill. She has ever since college with a couple of breaks to pursue art. Steve is married to Doreen and lives on the farm. Attached is the October photo taken when we all got together. So there you have it -- (even though you didn't ask for it )
Thanks Lorlee. Our families share a 50-year history that started in a country school south of Alexandria so I know they're all interested. Have a wonderful Christmas season.
