Kathleen has just finished her Christmas presents. She had read John Sanford's latest book, "Heat Lightning" before we left Shakopee. Since then she's finished James Patterson's "Cross Country," calling it "the most gruesome book I have ever read." She liked it. Now she is in to Patricia Cornwell's "Cause of Death," an oldie she spied at the Golden Goose Thrift Shop and brought home for $1. Now that's a good book.Besides Erling N. Rolfsrud, of course, her favorite authors are Cornwell, Sanford, John Grisham, Mary Higgins Clark and Ann Rule. She likes biographies (Russert, Stahl, others) and anything having to do with forensics or murder.
