As an occasional breadmaker I was also perplexed by the breadmaking story and it makes perfect sense about the temp. Now you know what to get Dan for Christmas; a new Sears stove like Kathleen's.

Update: The table closed at midnight, long after Stan had left for bed. Despite admonitions from her co-host to not take money from our guests and friends, Katie couldn't help herself and bested the table, pocketed enough to go for breakfast this morning after we finish putting the room back together.
