Charm School summer session under way

Dan Martin, headmaster emeritus of the Danny Martin School of Charm, is vacationing in town all week. He's staying with Kathleen and Stan and this morning enjoyed a round of golf at prestigious Creeks Bend National, carding a blistering 85, about the same number as the record dew point.
Dan will rise early tomorrow for a steamy round at Stonebrooke, before returning to detail Kathleen's tatty Volkswagen. (He enjoyed a New York Strip at Katie's table tonight.) After a few more rounds of golf and single-malt Scotch, Thursday Dan will board a return Delta flight to his new crib in Grants Pass, Oregon, where an employment interview awaits. As an ex-airline employee, Dan flies free. The well-traveled lad was Stan's guide to Scotland a couple of years back.
