A gathering in Maple Grove

Houlihan's in Maple Grove hosted the October meeting of the Alexandria Class of '65 Self-esteem Club, known as the Wallweeds. Stan's sister, Sosie, a class of 66er, was welcomed by the upper class at tonight's meeting, which was marked by the absence of several Wallweed regulars. Table talk did not exactly center on health issues, but due attention was paid to the topic any way. Parents, children and grandchildren were covered as well, but mostly parents. Everyone appeared healthy and were regaled by a retelling of Mom's "Big Wow" smoothie story, detailed earlier on this blog.
Then in an all-time great coincidence, we were just hitting the appetizers when who should drop by the table to say hello but Marcia, Mom's new cook at her new home in Bloomington! She denied following us there. She brought apple pie for Mom today.
Above are Ramona Froemming, Stan Rolfsrud, Kathy Sherry, Paula Widstrom and Solveig Rolfsrud. (Those are high school names. Don't know spellings of married names.)
