To help you get warmed up for the Rolfsrud Reunion this weekend, here's a photograph of four of the five Nils and Rebecca Rolfsrud children. Study this and you won't be ignorant when you arrive.
(bottom right) Halvor Rolfsrud was born March 21, 1906, in his parents' homestead shack. He married Martha Braaten in 1932 and they had four children. He died April 1, 1976. Can you name their four children?
Agnes Bergliott Rolfsrud was born Sept. 8, 1908. She married Sidney Veeder in 1930 in a double wedding ceremony with her sister Rena marrying Sidney's brother Bennie and forever creating confusion with distant relatives. Agnes and Sidney were the parents of four children. Name them. Agnes died January 15, 1997.
Rena (Ragna) Rolfsrud (not pictured) was born March 2, 1910. She married Bennie Veeder in 1930; they had two sons. She died Nov. 3, 1984.
Erling Nikolai Rolfsrud was born Sept. 3, 1912. He married Beverly Brown in 1941. They had six children. He died August 21, 1994.
Hanna Rolfsrud was born Feb. 28, 1915. She married Ted Weltzin in 1944. They had six children. Hannah died last fall. (see blog archives)
