Emily went on her first-ever REAL sliding adventure in her life Saturday. The little daredevil, after just two slides down the hill, wanted to go by herself. This of course was nerve-racking to me, as this hill is a very good size. Lolo said Emily would be okay, and she was. But darn, the first two times we went really fast down that hill, so it was really hard to let go for her solo slide.
Emily giggled all the way down.
At 2 1/2 yrs old, she insisted on climbing back up this steep hill and pulling her own sled along too. Clearly exhausted half way up, she finally let mom take her hand and pull her along.
By trip four, she wanted mommy to pull her up the hill while riding the sled. Ahhhhh...like mother, like daughter. (This, by the way, was some much-needed exercise . . . and Emily was just trying to me help out, of course. ha.) Can you say "sweat" on this 45 degree day?
Here are some pics. We love you. Call us tonight.
