Barberry Doll

She put the last annual into the last pot, transplanted some perennials, and now she's tackled the beautiful barberry bush with the nasty nettles that punish casual pruners. She's digging in like a pink-gloved badger, snapping twigs, pulling out the dead sticks, giving the tired bush new life.
It's Sunday afternoon, Kathleen's taking a snooze after another strenuous knee workout, so Sosie is being super useful getting us caught up on our gardening.
Early in the evening we'll wash up and head to Laurie and Brenda's party in Prior Lake, marking their Master's degrees from biz school.
