Happy Mother's Day, Mom. You've got just one more to deliver . . .

Dad took this picture in December 1951 shortly after we had moved to Alexandria from Deerwood. It's
Solveig's third birthday, she has a box on her lap and ribbons in her hair. Candles burn on a homemade cake on that lovely oilcloth.  From left, Solveig, Rebecca, Mom, Stephen, Linda, Stanley.
