Low spot

You can see the new backsplash from here.
Russ found a low spot in the kitchen. Terry is filling it in with some kind of cement. Tiling will continue through Sunday. Grout has been selected and purchased, $50 worth. Meanwhile, we took a drive to the Hemet Home Depot and the Moreno Valley Home Depot to round up accent tiles. Got 28. Need total of 66 for a big rectangle in the great room. Ordered a batch on-line as well. UPS is circulating somewhere in the area. We're not on the map.
The drive provided ample views of the San Jacinto Peak, which is easily seen from the backyard of the  new house. It is the highest peak in the Jacinto Range, and home to a tram that goes from Palm Springs to the summit, where there is a restaurant and other reasons to climb the mountain. Oh wait, you don't need a reason. You climb a mountain because it is there.
